Details

Tansu is a Japanese term commonly used for cabinetry and chests, often recognized by straightforward casework and prominent hardware. In this reference example, that influence appears in the bold corner and hinge accents, ring-pull style hardware, and compact chest-like proportions adapted to a vanity format.
