This Japanese tansu-style console chest is crafted from ash wood and finished in a warm teak tone that highlights the natural grain and subtle variation of the material. With its long, low 86-inch profile, it offers the visual presence of a substantial console while remaining practical for storage and display.

The front is organized with four paneled doors in two hinged double-door sections. Each door features a lattice-inspired upper panel that recalls traditional Japanese kumiko-style geometric screens, paired with a solid lower panel for a balanced, grounded look. Minimal blackened ring pulls provide understated contrast against the wood finish.

Inside, the cabinet opens to a spacious storage area fitted with shelves, making it suitable for use as a media console, sideboard, or low storage cabinet. The combination of broad surface area, enclosed storage, and clean linear proportions allows the piece to sit comfortably in contemporary, Japandi, or transitional interiors.
