Vintage Japanese Ikebana Vase, 1970s, Showa Era (SKU 25D-332-6)
Rustic Showa-era stoneware with a warm brown glaze and tomobako presentation box
This vintage Japanese vase presents a quietly powerful form, finished in a deep brown glaze with natural kiln variation and a handsome, time-softened surface. The cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, and subtle applied details give it a distinctive handmade character that reflects the restrained beauty of Showa-period ceramics.
It comes with its original wooden tomobako, hand-inscribed in brush script, adding both authenticity and display value. Suitable for ikebana or as a decorative accent, the piece combines rustic elegance with the appealing texture and patina of well-preserved Japanese pottery.
