This elegant vintage Japanese Usubata vase features a beautifully sculpted double-handled body with a wide, flat upper tray ideal for Ikebana flower arrangements. Crafted from dark-patinated bronze, the central section is adorned with delicate inlays of cranes flying over stylized ocean waves, with a rising sun motif in the background. The curved handles are intricately cast and attached with refined detail, showcasing traditional Japanese metalwork. Usubata vases like this were commonly used in tea ceremonies or formal interiors to present seasonal floral displays.
