Description

A beautiful handcrafted Hagi-yaki sencha set consisting of a side-handle teapot (kyūsu) and six matching tea cups, complete with the original signed wooden tomobako. The soft white glaze with warm pink-brown clay tones is characteristic of Hagi ware, known for its earthy textures and subtle color transitions that deepen with use. Each piece displays gentle wheel-thrown lines and natural kiln variations, giving the set an organic, wabi-sabi presence.

A classic bancha-ki set—functional, elegant, and ideal for daily tea service or display.
