(MIZUYA-DANSU)

This reproduction of a Japanese mizuya tansu is inspired by the traditional kitchen chest, reimagined at counter height for modern functionality. Designed as a half-sized version of the classic mizuya, it offers ample storage with spacious drawers, perfect for utensils, placemats, or other dining essentials. Behind the large sliding doors are adjustable shelves, ideal for storing wine, kitchen equipment, or tableware.

The frame and countertop are crafted from solid hardwood, providing durability and a timeless aesthetic, while the interior is made from solid kiri wood, known for its lightweight strength and insect resistance. All drawers are fitted with bottom-mount soft-closing glides for smooth operation, and the cast iron handles add a touch of rustic elegance, blending traditional Japanese design with modern convenience.
