This refined vintage cabinet was originally the middle section of a traditional Japanese three-part kimono tansu, once used for storing garments and accessories. Crafted from kiri (paulownia) wood, prized for its light weight, durability, and resistance to humidity, it showcases a warm natural grain and a timeless, understated elegance.

The cabinet retains its original decorative hardware—ornate metal hinges and handles—while the base has been thoughtfully updated with a new custom black metal stand, giving the piece a modern lift and enhancing its versatility.

Inside, two shelves provide practical storage for tableware, bar essentials, or personal items. Its compact yet functional design makes it ideal as a console chest, bar cabinet, or stylish storage piece in living, dining, or entryway spaces.
