Vintage Japanese Decorative Vase, Heisei Era (SKU 25D-332-1)
Hand-painted Heisei-era porcelain vase with songbirds and floral gold ground
This elegant Japanese porcelain vase is decorated in rich enamels over a soft celadon-green glaze, the shoulder and body wrapped in a profusion of stylised blossoms. Against a shimmering kinpaku-style gold ground, two finely detailed birds perch on a branch, rendered with delicate brushwork that recalls traditional kachōga (bird-and-flower painting). The rim is finished with a refined gilt band, adding a subtle accent to the rounded, modern silhouette.
Signed to the base in red and accompanied by its original signed kiri-wood tomobako storage box, this vintage piece reflects the refined craftsmanship of late 20th-century studio ceramics. Ideal as a display vase on a tokonoma or sideboard, it brings a serene seasonal motif and a touch of Heisei-era design to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
