Vintage Japanese Lacquer Tissue Box (25D-043-1)

Red Lacquer with Floral Motif | Shōwa Era

6 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 7"H

Square wooden tissue box finished in deep red lacquer with a glossy surface. The removable top panel features a circular opening and hand-painted floral decoration in cream, red, and green tones.

The interior is finished in black lacquer, creating a strong contrast with the exterior. The clean cubic form reflects mid-20th-century Japanese design, while the floral motif adds a subtle decorative accent.
