Description
This is a vintage Japanese personal storage chest called Ko Tansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).  
 
It was made from 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood. Originally used to store small items and knick knacks, it function well in today's home as a bedside stand or a side table.
