Vintage Japanese Flower Basket (SKU 25D-408-1)
Soft celadon-glazed hanaire with delicate incised floral design
This vintage Japanese vessel is a graceful hanaire, or flower vase, finished in a serene blue-green celadon glaze. The rounded shoulder and small, slightly flared mouth create a harmonious silhouette that suits both single seasonal stems and compact ikebana arrangements.
Subtle carved floral motifs emerge beneath the translucent glaze, giving the surface a layered depth reminiscent of classic celadon ware. Fine crazing and a neatly finished foot ring add character, making this piece a refined accent for a tokonoma alcove, tearoom, or modern interior.
