Vintage Japanese Kyodai Dressing Table (SKU 25D-196-2)
Showa-era Japanese kiri dresser with tall cheval mirror and multiple storage drawers
This elegant antique Japanese dressing table, or kyōdai, features a striking full-length tilting mirror rising from a compact chest of drawers. The warm, richly figured wood grain and softly rounded edges embody the refined simplicity of early 20th-century Japanese design, making it an ideal accent for both traditional and modern interiors.
Below the mirror, a stepped platform and five smoothly sliding drawers offer practical storage for cosmetics, hair accessories, and small garments. Delicate cut-out details to the rear gallery and original metal pulls complete the piece, reflecting the craftsmanship and quiet luxury associated with Showa-period furnishings.
