Japanese Geta Bako Entry Bench Chest (WCB7)

A practical Japanese-style entry chest designed for shoe storage and everyday seating.

Handcrafted with a clean, architectural profile, this geta bako style bench chest combines low shoe storage with the function of an entry bench. The front is fitted with two sliding slatted doors with recessed pulls, opening to an interior divided into two compartments. One side includes a shelf, making it easy to organize shoes, slippers, or other small household items while keeping the entryway neat.

The broad top provides a convenient place to sit while removing shoes, and the simple rectilinear form works well in genkan-style entries, mudrooms, hallways, or living spaces. Visible details include a projecting top, paneled sides, and contrasting butterfly inlays on the top surface. Offered in clean or teak finish.
