This is a Japanese sake utensils called Otoso set made of Wajima lacquer. They are usually used during traditional Japanese wedding so they are decorated with auspicious motifs done in beautiful Makie with gold Nashiji technique. Wajima nuri, Wajima lacquerware is made in Wajima City in Ishikawa prefecture. Wajima lacquerware is the one of the most famous lacquerware because of the high quality.

 It comes in an original wooden box, signed Gyokuho on the box. There are small chips on the edges.
