This is an antique Ema, a small wooden plaque for Shinto from late Meiji period (1890's-1910's). It is used for Buddhist worshippers to write wishes and offer at the temple.

This has a beautiful woman in traditional kimono and calligraphic writing on the side. It is rare peice, and great to add to your collection.
