The is an antique Japanese stone Buddha from the early Meiji period (1860's-1880's).This kind of buddha can be found on the street in Japan or temple incarnations greet us along the trail, bringing protection and power when we need it.
It is very hard to tell, but looking at his facial expression, this may be one of the Myo-o, fierce protective deities.
Because of age, it has lichen covering its surface amd it is an great addition to your garden.
