This is vintage Japanese Samurai Yoroi Kabuto set, armour set from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).

This yoroi has a cresent moon Maetate, front decoration on the helmet and this design in used for one of the famous Busho samurai, Masamune Date.

In Buddhism, the moon is an enduring symbol of truth and enlightenment.

This set comes in full set and can be displayed with a wooden stand and sits on the storage box. Excellent home decor.
