Description

This is a vintage Japanese Zataku, low coffee table made of Chinese wood (Karaki) wood from the early Showa period (1920s-1940's). Zataku is a short- legged table traditionally placed on tatami floor in Japanese room, low to the tatami ground, used while eating, drinking and family gathering, so it is usually shaped in square, rectangular or round.

It is made of solid wood, so it is very stable and can enjoy it for a long time.
