Handcrafted multi-tier Showa-era pagoda model with brass fittings and temple bells

This impressive vintage Japanese wooden pagoda is a finely detailed architectural model inspired by traditional Buddhist temple towers. Crafted in warm-toned natural wood, it rises in four gracefully diminishing tiers, each crowned with gently upturned eaves and encircling verandas that echo the elegance of historic tō (pagodas) found throughout Japan.

Small hanging bells chime softly from each roof corner, while ornate brass door mounts in the form of stylised seahorses add a refined decorative accent to the central shrine doors on every level. The vertical finial (sōrin) at the summit completes the classic silhouette, making this a striking Showa-era display piece for a tokonoma alcove, entryway, or curated collection of Japanese temple and shrine art.
