This softly rounded Japanese porcelain vase captures the quiet beauty of aki no nanakusa, the traditional autumn grasses. Delicate sprays of foliage and red flower clusters meander across a warm white ground, highlighted with flowing strokes of gilt that suggest wind-tossed pampas and bamboo.
