Vintage Japanese Flower Vase, 1970s, Showa Era (SKU 25D-440-1-4)
Rustic Showa-period stoneware with a warm natural glaze and tomobako.
This vintage Japanese vase presents a refined cylindrical silhouette with a richly textured, kiln-fired surface. The body shows a warm orange-brown glaze with speckled ash effects and subtle vertical firing marks, giving it the quiet character of a mid-century hanaire.
Paired with its signed wooden tomobako, the piece reflects the understated beauty often admired in Japanese stoneware. Its tall, slender form and earthy finish make it an elegant accent for display, ikebana, or a thoughtful collector’s shelf.
