Vintage Japanese Tiered Food Box (SKU 25D-454)
Handsome three-tier vintage jubako with deep wood-grain exterior and vermilion interior lacquer
This vintage Japanese tiered food box, or jubako, features a rich, dark wood-grain pattern to the exterior, finished in a glossy lacquer that catches the light beautifully. Its clean, cubic form is accented by fine red lines between the tiers, giving a refined modernist feel while remaining rooted in traditional design.
Inside, each of the three stacking layers is coated in a smooth vermilion lacquer, ideal for presenting osechi ryori, sushi, or seasonal delicacies. Whether used for special-occasion dining, as an elegant bento-style serving piece, or displayed as a classic Showa-era lacquerware accent, this jubako brings understated Japanese sophistication to any table or interior.
