This vintage Japanese sudare misu blind is crafted from closely spaced, slender bamboo slats, creating a refined, almost textile-like surface that softly filters light. The upper edge is finished with a warm orange brocade trim patterned with traditional kikkō and floral motifs, lending the piece a distinctly shōji-like elegance suitable for alcoves, windows, or as a subtle room divider.

Suspended from engraved metal fittings, the blind is operated by rich brown braided himo cords terminating in elaborate decorative knots and long tassels, a detail more often seen in formal interiors.
