Showa-era three-drawer ko-bako with warm patina and iron ring pulls

This compact wooden chest embodies the understated charm of mid-20th-century Japanese storage furniture. Crafted in the manner of a small ko-bako or desktop tansu, it features three neatly stacked drawers framed by a simple case, the surfaces mellowed to a rich reddish-brown from decades of use.

Each drawer front is finished with horizontal grain and fitted with a forged iron ring pull, giving the piece a quiet, utilitarian elegance.
