Vintage Japanese Small Desk With Drawers (SKU 25D-232)

Showa-era low desk/table with hand-painted floral motif and integrated storage

This Vintage Japanese low table combines the clean, modern lines of the Showa period with the warmth of traditional lacquered wood. Finished in a deep red-brown tone, the rectangular top gently rounds at the edges and flows seamlessly into panel sides, creating a compact piece ideal as a chabudai-style tea table or living room center table.

One side reveals a large, smooth-gliding drawer and additional small drawers, while the opposite panel is adorned with a colorful hand-painted floral roundel, echoing early 20th-century Art Nouveau influences popular in Showa Japan. Cut-out side handles and simple metal pulls add functional charm, making this vintage table both a practical storage piece and a distinctive accent in any wabi-sabi or eclectic interior.
