Heisei-era Japanese 瓢棚(ひさごだな)with a refined lacquered finish
This elegant Japanese shelf presents a clean, architectural silhouette with slim uprights and a rich dark reddish-brown finish. Its restrained design and polished surfaces give it a calm, modern presence while remaining rooted in traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Well suited as a 瓢棚 (hisago-dana) or 飾り棚 (kazari-dana) for tea ceremon y ceramics, bonsai, ikebana, or select collectibles, it offers a versatile display platform with quiet sophistication. The original handwritten storage box is included, adding to its authenticity and collector appeal.
