Vintage Japanese Tokkuri Style Pot (SKU 25D-349-1)
Soft celadon-glazed tokuri-style pot with beautiful aged crazing
This vintage Japanese pot features a gently swelling body that rises to a narrow neck and flared lip, recalling the elegant silhouette of a traditional tokuri sake bottle. The surface is covered in a pale grey-white celadon glaze, its quiet tone enlivened by a fine network of crazing that has developed over time, giving the piece a softly weathered, wabi-sabi character.
Likely produced in the mid-Showa era, this simple yet refined vessel would have served as a practical everyday container, now reimagined as a sculptural accent for contemporary interiors. Display it on its own, grouped with other Showa-era ceramics, or use it as a small flower vase to highlight its understated Japanese minimalism.
