Vintage Japanese Kannon Statue (SKU 25D-108)

Finely crafted wooden pagoda model inspired by classic Buddhist temple architecture

This multi-tiered Japanese pagoda model is a richly detailed homage to traditional tō (tower) architecture associated with Kannon and other Buddhist deities. Deeply stained timber, gracefully upturned eaves, and finely worked balcony railings evoke the atmosphere of an old temple precinct, making it a striking focal point for an alcove, study, or dedicated butsudan room.

Each level is articulated with rhythmic roof ribs, bracket complexes, and miniature veranda balustrades, while small metal wind bells hang from the corners of the roofs to suggest the gentle soundscape of a temple courtyard. The craftsmanship and symmetry throughout the structure speak to careful, hand-finished work typical of quality vintage Japanese decorative pieces.
