Vintage Japanese Lacquer Tall Ko Tansu (22S-G7)
This is an antique Japanese lacquered Hikidashi tansu, drawers chest from Taisho (1910's-1902's).
The hardware was all hand made and the case and it is made of Cryptomeria (Suginoki) and Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.
The tall narrow size is very practical for placement in any room of the home.
