Vintage Korean Style Vase (SKU 25D-023-1)
Celadon-style openwork vase with graceful crane motifs
This vintage Japanese–Korean style vase showcases a beautiful blue-green celadon glaze, its softly crackled surface encircling the rounded shoulder and mouth. Delicate white cranes in flight are brushed around the neck, a classic East Asian symbol of longevity and good fortune, adding a poetic accent to the serene glaze.
The body is richly decorated with a reticulated, basket-like openwork pattern, giving the piece depth, texture, and a play of light and shadow. Displayed as an objet d’art, used as a flower vase with an inner liner, or set before a window or lamp to let light filter through the lattice, this Showa-era piece brings refined Korean and Japanese ceramic artistry into any interior.
