This is a vintage Japanese 3 section Kimono Tansu called Kimono Tansu from early Showa period (1940's). It was made using 100% Paulownia (Kirinoki) wood.
The top section has a pair of sliding doors with 3 small drawers and the center section houses some slide out shelves behind the hinged doors. The bottom section has 3 large drawers.
Originally used to store Japanese Kimono, it would work well in today's home as a clothes dresser or linen cabinet for daily use.
