Description

This is a vintage 2 section stacking Japanese chest called Kimono Biraki Tansu from Taisho period (1920's-1940's). It was entirely constructed in thick Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki). 

The hinged doors covers large trays that slide out and bottom section has 3 drawers so you will be able to store plenty of clothing or cloth fabrics in this Japanese tansu piece.
