This is an authentic vintage Japanese 2 section clothing chest called Kasane Isho Tansu from the 1920's (late Taisho to early Showa era).  It was constructed entirely of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki).  

Perfect for daily use, this beautiful piece of handcrafted furniture would suit any home decor.
