Vintage Japanese Kasane Isho Tansu 2 Section (23O-A204)
This is a vintage Japanese 2 section Isho Kimono Tansu from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).
It was made entirely of Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) with beautiful hardware to complement the chest. Recessed side handles can be used to lift and move this tansu about.
