Description

This is a vintage 2 section stacking Japanese chest called Kasane Isho Tansu.  

It was entirely constructed in Paulownia wood (Japanese Kirinoki). Its age is from the late Taisho to early Showa era (circa 1920's).

Originally used to store Japanese Kimono, it is very simple and will be easy to blend in any home decor.
