Showa-era Japanese display doll in a vivid red glass case

This charming vintage Japanese doll is presented in a lacquer-red glass case, evoking the nostalgic warmth of mid–Showa-period home décor. The figure wears a brilliant red kimono layered with metallic-gold brocade and colorful patterns, her serene bisque-style face framed by straight black hair and a matching hat, posed gracefully as if mid-dance.

Often displayed for seasonal celebrations or as an elegant okimono, dolls like this brought a touch of theater and tradition into everyday interiors.
