This vintage Japanese iron kettle, or tetsubin, presents a beautifully rounded body densely patterned with cherry blossoms in full bloom. The dark, softly lustrous patina highlights the crisp relief of each petal, giving the surface a rich, tactile presence that speaks to careful mold work and steady hand-finishing by a skilled caster.
An arched handle rises confidently above the lid, echoing the natural irregularity of forged iron, while the gently curved spout is proportioned for a smooth, controlled pour.
