Description

This is an authentic Mingei, folk toy of tiger, called Tora Hariko made of paper-mache (Hariko) from late 1900's. Tora Hariko have a long history in western Kagawa prefecture. Traditionally, they were seen as a good luck charms, having one in your home would increase the likelihood of your children growing up healthy. A tiger head swings when touched by a a finger.
