Low lacquered folding table in the classic Japanese zashiki style, ideal for tea, dining, or display.

This vintage Japanese folding table features a beautifully grained, dark-stained wooden top with softly rounded corners and a gently curved profile. Designed to be used at floor level in a traditional tatami room, it offers a warm, refined surface for serving tea, casual dining, or presenting seasonal ikebana and ceramics.

The underside reveals a robust collapsible frame that folds neatly into the body of the table for compact storage, a hallmark of Showa-era practicality. Its understated lacquer finish and clean lines allow it to blend effortlessly with both wabi-sabi interiors and modern minimalist spaces.
