Showa-era circular zaisu-height chabudai with rich wood grain and folding legs

This vintage Japanese folding table is a classic low chabudai form, ideal for floor seating in a tatami room or modern living space. The round top showcases beautifully figured wood grain in a warm, reddish-brown tone, giving the piece a quiet presence that harmonizes easily with both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Underneath, sturdy hinged legs fold neatly into a compact profile, allowing the table to be stored flat against a wall or in a tansu when not in use—an ingenious Showa-era solution for small-space living.
