This is a vintage Japanese pair of bronze Shishi figurine from the early 1900's.

Shishi is translated as "lion” but it can also refer to a deer or dog with magical properties and the power to repel evil spirits. It has traditional motif called Tama Shishi,  Shishi with a ball. It is done in full detaisl, great accent piece for your home.
