This is an authentic Japanese Piggy bank shaped in Maneki Neko known as a Beckoning Cat from mid. 1900's.

It is from Tokoname kiln so it has large rounded eyes and head, carries coins in th sack around the neck with a writing "Fuku" which is luck.

Raising its right paw, it is beckoning good luck and prosperity for its owner.  It would make a wonderful good luck mascot for any business or cat lover.
