This is an authentic Japanese Kama from late 1900's. Kama is Japanese term referring to the metal pot / kettle used in Sado, Japanese tea ceremony . Kama is made of cast iron and is used to heart the water to make tea and it has beautiful design on the body. The lid is made of bronze.

Kama comes in different shapes and this is called Tsuru Kubi, crane neck since upper part get narrow like a crane's neck.

It is a great peice to practice your tea ceremony.
