This classic two-section isho-dansu was designed for the storage of folded kimono and obi, its wide, full-length drawers reflecting the refined minimalism of early 20th-century Japanese interiors. The warm, honey-toned wood is framed by hand-cut joinery and accented with softly patinated copper plates that reinforce the corners and drawer fronts while adding a subtle decorative rhythm.

Each drawer is fitted with simplified round jōmae lock plates and matching pull kanagu, their clean circular forms standing out against the straight grain of the timber.
