Antique Japanese Mizuya Kitchen Tansu Chest

This elegant two-section antique Mizuya tansu, crafted from hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood, embodies traditional Japanese craftsmanship and functional design. The upper section features two sliding doors with newly installed glass panels, preserving the piece’s authenticity while enhancing its usability. Additionally, it includes four spacious drawers with iron handles, perfect for organized storage.

The lower section comprises two sliding doors, also adorned with intricate wood latticework, concealing a generous compartment with removable shelves to suit various storage needs. The beautiful grain and warm patina of the hinoki wood make this piece a timeless addition to any space, combining functionality with aesthetic charm.
