Description

This is an antique 2 section Japanese stacking clothing chest called Kimono Kasane Isho Tansu from Taisho (1910's-1920's).

Constructed entirely from Paulownia wood (Kirinoki) it features rectangular handles and diamond shaped lockplates.

Originally used for kimono storage, it can be used for the same purpose as well as storage for clothes or linens.
