This elegant multi-tiered jubako is finished in a rich vermilion-red lacquer, edged with fine gold lines that articulate each layer. The set comprises stacked food boxes, a low openwork stand, and a fitted lid, all housed in a traditional wooden storage case that speaks to its careful preservation in Japan.
