Charming pair of shrine-style Inari fox figurines in hand-painted porcelain

Rendered in a glossy white glaze and seated on vivid vermilion plinths, this matched pair of kitsune (fox) figures evokes the small guardian statues seen at Inari shrines across Japan. Each fox holds a stylized treasure sack and sits before a black-framed panel, its face delicately detailed in black and red with touches of gilt on the tail and offerings.

The compact scale and symmetrical composition make these antique Japanese porcelain foxes ideal for a kamidana (household altar), bookshelf, or tokonoma display.
