Description

This is an antique Japaense bronze hibachi from late Meiji period (1890's-1910's).

It is decorated with peaceful scenery and ornated handles on the both side.

Originally, this container was intended to hold burning charcoal was used as a heating device. This hibachi is simple and very elegant, easy to blend into any home decor and it will work wonderfully as a planter.
