This is an authentic Japanese Tetsubin, cast-iron tea kettle pot with bronze lid from Taisho period (1910's-1920's).

Tetsubin comes with a pouring spout, a lid and handle crossing over the top, used for boiling hot water for drinkng purpose, such as for making green tea.

It has beautiful details.
